4. Executive Summary

Easily the most important section, as this is where you can impress and catch your business. It should be an accurate descriptions of your business and should be no longer than one page. It should encourage to reader to continue reading and give the reader the most important information.

You want to write this section last, as it will outline and define your whole business plan. Ask yourself how to summarise something you haven’t written.

Typically, you would want to cover a summary of your businesses:

  • Purpose
  • Company history and profile and status (start up, expansion, purchase) and structure.
  • Product description
  • Marketing efforts, including target audience.
  • Financials demonstrating profitability.
