9B. Compensation Packages

Now that we know what our roles are going to be it is time to establish policies for payment for the roles. It is important to note, that when hiring for a role, to include the pay/pay range in the description, as this will allow you to attract the appropriate people to your application. As the last thing you would like is to make it all the way through the process to find out that your ideal candidate is not willing to take the role due to the pay being below expectations. A great tool that supports this is the labour market information tool, which outlines the typical pay for your employees.

Beyond the pay structure you can also outline the benefits structure for the employees.
